Annual Remembrance Service Held at Wolfson Children's Hospital
Service Will Honor Young Patients Who Have Passed On
Jacksonville, Florida, November 27, 2006 -- Wolfson Children's Hospital will host its annual Remembrance Service for the young patients who have passed away at the hospital or at home while being treated through Community PedsCare, a pediatric palliative and hospice program for children with life-threatening illnesses. The program will be held on December 3 at 3 p.m. in the Jessie Ball duPont Center for Continuing Health Education at Baptist Medical Center Downtown.
The service will feature music from Body and Soul. Following a welcome by Wolfson Children's Hospital Administrator Larry Freeman, the service will include time for personal reflection, a candle-lighting and a reading of the names of each child who has passed, along with a POWERPoint presentation of children's photographs.
