Mission of the Foundation The mission of the foundation is to support current and future community health care needs through philanthropy and fundraising. The Role of the Foundation The role of the Foundation is to support Baptist Health and Wolfson Children's Hospital by matching an individual's charitable interests with the needs of the hospitals. Philanthropic Efforts by the Foundation Baptist Health Foundation, Inc. was established in 1985 to be the channel for all of the fundraising activities that enable the Baptist Health hospitals to carry out their mission of serving patients of all ages, regardless of ability to pay. The Foundation coordinates gifts and fundraising for Wolfson Children's Hospital in addition to our four adult hospitals. Baptist Health is committed to providing high-quality comprehensive care, which the Foundation assists by funding new technology, equipment and treatments.
