Asthma, Breathing and Lungs Wolfson Children's Hospital provides evaluation and comprehensive treatment for infants, children and adolescents with common and complex breathing problems. Areas of expertise include asthma, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sleep disorders, and other lung problems. Our team is comprised of pediatric pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, nurses and dietitians who work together to provide a continuum of care that involves the patient and family in their own treatment, in the hospital and at home. Digestive, Liver and Pancreas Disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver are among the most common reasons that children are seen by health care providers. Our physicians include pediatric gastroenterologists who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of digestive disorders, including:

Outpatient services are provided at Nemours Children's Clinic, while inpatient services such as surgery are performed at Wolfson Children's Hospital or in the George Armstrong Outpatient Surgery Center at 1235 San Marco Blvd. in the Baptist Outpatient Center. Immune System and Infectious Diseases Our pediatric infectious disease specialists provide a breadth and depth of team of expertise, ranging from nationally funded clinical research to the treatment and prevention of HIV in children, and from neonatal infection to infections in immunocompromised hosts. Our physicians have received a number of awards and have been nationally recognized in the areas of HIV infection and other infectious disease management protocols. Kidneys, Bladder and Urinary Wolfson Children’s Hospital offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for the entire range of disorders of the kidneys, bladder, and urinary and genital tracts. Nephrologists with Nemours Children's Clinic provide a wide range of services to patients with kidney disease, from diagnosing and treating mild conditions to providing chronic dialysis at the Donna M. Hall Children's Dialysis Program. Our urologists are experts in minimally invasive surgery for urinary and genital tract conditions, including the use of the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System. Newborn Services Wolfson Children's Hospital, supported by Baptist Medical Center Downtown, provides a full range of newborn services from full-term healthy babies to those who are premature or critically ill. More than 5,000 babies are born at Baptist Health hospitals each year, where we offer the comfort of family-friendly amenities, combined with the most advanced technology for the care of mother and baby.
