Community Health Programs
Wolfson Children's Hospital plays a lead role in addressing and advocating for the health issues of children and families in our community. Our primary areas of focus are chronic disease prevention and management; mentoring at-risk adolescents, and increasing access to care for the uninsured and medically underserved. We also work to prevent childhood accidents and injuries. A few of our community health programs for children and families include: Community Asthma Partnership at Wolfson Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program Northeast Florida Pediatric Diabetes Center Safe Kids Northeast Florida Tipping the Scale Mentoring Program
